Beautiful small hotel close to everything in Bruges. The sitting room was all antiques and had a warm fire going. Our room was decorated nicely. Antiques throughout the hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room with the view over the canel is beautiful. Less than a minute walk to the old square, the staff was extremely nice. Rooms were clean. A bit pricey but if you can afford it, I highly recommend the Die Swainne. (swans at 3 am can be a bit noisy but they are swans so they got a pass).

We had an excellent time at the Die Swaene during our recent stay in Bruges just ebfore Christmas. The hotel is very welcoming and the staff lovely and friendly and helpful, they really helped out when we got delayed in Bruges due to a train strike and helped us contact Eurostar to sort it out. only a couple of very small grumbles, the room was a bit  chilly and we asked a couple fo times for the bathroom radiator to be turned on which didnt happen. Also the pool area although a great setting and most welcome as an activity after walking around Bruges ufortuntately the temperature of the pool was really chilly and made swiming in it more of a chore than a pleasure. On the big plus side on our last night we dined in the hotel resturant located across the street from the main reception the food, service and overall experience was stunning and it was a very resonable cost. we loved the Die Swaene and would definitely return.

Very comfortable and extremely quiet stay at Die Swaene. Would HIGHLY recommend restaurant over the road The Pergola. Had wonderful, albeit, pricey evening meal there and will definitely return!

Hotel idéalement situé, 1 minute de la place de Mark, avec vue sur un canal en prime. Charme désuet, confortable mais daté. Notre chambre avec vue était grande . Mobilier classique mais en mauvaise état. Pas mal de finition a refaire globalement . Patio de la piscine très sympa, dommage quelle ne soit chauffée.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Nice location next to the canal and close to most attractions in Brugge. Friendly and Helpful service. Nice and clean room with beautiful furniture.

Entre ce que l'on voit sur le Net et la réalité, il y a une sacrée différence....les Suites sont en fait des chambres mais nous avons bien payé pour une Suite; la Chambre n'a pas de Safe-Box, ni Table ni Fer de repassage, lecteur DVD CD ne marche pas, le couvre lit etait "par terre", jeté dans un coin de la chambre ..et n'a jamais été remis par les  femmes de service pendant notre séjour 4 jours -3 nuits, les draps ont bien des TROUS, alors pour soi disant une Suite, ça fait désordre . La piscine intérieure est en fait une Grande baignoire, en 2 brasses vous êtes déjà arrivé au bout.... Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très modeste et ne varie pas d'une pouce d'une journée à l'autre.....heureusement que l'ensemble du Personnel est charmant, nous avons été déçu ds l'ensemble pour une question rapport Qualité-Prix, ça ne mérite une 4 étoiles.

Cet hôtel calme, à taille humaine et à la décoration typique est parfaitement situé à quelques pas du centre historique. C'est idéal pour découvrir la ville à pied après avoir laissé la voiture au parking de l’hôtel (inutile de chercher ailleurs). Quel plaisir de profiter de la piscine très peu fréquentée et à 27° après une longue promenade, puis de  tranquillement repartir diner à l'extérieur en soirée... Le personnel parle au minimum 3 langues (français, anglais, hollandais) et est très efficace, serviable et de bon conseil (lieux à visiter en priorité). On vous remet une carte de la ville et un passe vous permettant de visiter les lieux touristiques avec réduction à utiliser presque partout. La chambre supérieure que nous avions réservé dispose d'une literie de qualité et est spacieuse. Un petit bémol pour la salle de bain un peu trop standard et en décalage avec l'ambiance chaleureuse de la chambre et de l'hôtel. Rien de grave cependant, car tout est fonctionnel et propre. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et servi dans une charmante véranda. En résume, l'hôtel "Die Swaene" est une très bonne base pour visiter Bruges avec un bon rapport qualité/prix et un personnel de qualité. A recommander.
